WELCOME TO PUGET RENTAL OWNERS ASSOCIATION

Puget Rental Owners Association (PROA) offers many services to rental owners and property managers.

Nothing is more important than finding tenant who will maintain the property and pay the rent.  PROA offers its members the opportunity to run credit or credit and criminal background checks on prospective tenants.  Once the applicant passes your screening process, PROA has the forms necessary to rent your property.

PROA hosts a monthly dinner meeting seminar on the last Tuesday of each month.  Previous guest speakers include:  Fair Housing, Eviction Attorneys, Police Department, Fire Department, Accountants, Political Speakers and Disaster Management.  These dinner seminars are an excellent source of information and great opportunity to network with fellow landlords.

PROA maintains a database of people in Kitsap County who have had an unlawful detainer action (eviction) filed against them.  This is another helpful screening tool.

Delegates attend quarterly Washington Apartment Association meetings to keep our members current on all Legislative issues which impact the rental business.
